Choose the sleeping style and bath by room type
Shoryukan offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami and futons alongside Western-style rooms with beds. Choose the former if sleeping on the floor appeals to you, or a bed-based room if you need one. The private cypress open-air bath belongs to the specific Japanese-style category labelled 露天風呂付き和室. The bath is not included in every room. Check the booked room’s name and bathroom arrangement before relying on a photograph.

How far to the station you will use every day
South-west of Shin-ochanomizu Station, about 300 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.

The communal guest bath is not an onsen
The communal bath is for staying guests and is explicitly not an onsen. Listed hours are 15:00 until 09:00 the next morning. The sauna is in the men’s bath only, 18:00–24:00. Tattoos are barred from the communal bath, and phones and cameras are prohibited in the changing and bathing areas. Do not infer a private-room exception from that rule; ask before booking if it matters to you. Do not plan this as a public day-bath stop.
Fit the stay to arrival and departure
The hotel is at Kanda Ogawamachi 3-24-9. Check-in starts at 15:00 and checkout is 10:00.
