Listen over a drink
Milonga plays Argentine tango on LP and serves coffee and beers from around the world. Choose it when a drink and recorded music would be more welcome than another bookshop. This is a listening cafe, not an established live-performance or dance programme.

Which side of the station, and how far
East of Jimbocho Station, about 140 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.

Use the relocated branch
Use the current Jimbocho 1-3-3 branch, rather than navigating from an old photograph or relocation-era address. The public operator profile lists weekdays 11:30–22:30, weekends and public holidays 11:30–19:00, closed Wednesday. Last orders are 22:00 and 18:30 respectively.
Choose the day as well as the cafe
A late weekday visit and a weekend evening have different limits. If the cafe follows book browsing, arrange the order around that day’s last orders. Seating and a quiet reading spot are not guaranteed. If a long seated rest is essential, look at the actual room before deciding.
