Nihonbashi Rikyu-an

Choose sarashina or natto soba, distinguishing a simple 1F meal from the upstairs dining arrangements.

White noodles or natto

Sarashina uses the white first flour obtained when milling buckwheat. Compare plain mori if you want to focus on the noodles, or natto soba if you like fermented beans’ flavour and texture. The latter combines large natto beans, bonito flakes, nori, radish sprouts and egg yolk. Change the proportions as you mix to taste the noodles against the toppings. Confirm essential ingredient restrictions before ordering.

They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.

The floor changes the visit

The 1F promotes chair-and-table dining for a solo or quick soba meal. The basement and upper floors have different arrangements; 3F tatami private rooms are for groups of three or more. Chairs do not establish a step-free entrance or toilet route. Ask for the floor and conditions the group needs.

For a straightforward soba meal

1F and basement guidance gives weekdays 11:00–15:00 and 17:00–21:00, Saturday 11:00–15:30, with earlier last orders. Sunday and public holidays are closed. Upstairs times differ. Decide between a straightforward solo meal and group dining, then read the arrangements for the floor you need. Current works partially close the Chuo-dori approach into Muromachi-koji; follow the operator’s detour notice when arriving.
