Three ways to frame objects

Choose through the need: a room composition, a daily tool, or material close to hand.

LOST AND FOUND and Roundabout close Tuesdays. Enquire about Roundabout basement access if needed; the three are not a compulsory long walk.

CIBONE relates furniture and objects; LOST AND FOUND serves daily tasks; Roundabout draws attention to material and time in use.

COMPARE · What differs

Uehara is a western extension, not a compulsory part of one walking route. LOST AND FOUND and Roundabout close on Tuesdays.

Walking times are estimates from OpenStreetMap’s surface street network at 80 m/min. They exclude underpasses, decks, station concourses, signal waits, slopes and movement inside buildings. Straight-line links are not walking routes; follow on-site signs even where a time is shown. Shaded quarters show the approximate areas around FOW’s selected places.

Three ways to frame objects

CIBONE Omotesando

Choose it for how objects make a room, compared with LOST AND FOUND’s focus on a particular daily tool.

Continue with this place ↗

Start with a task at home—a pen on a notebook, fruit in a glass bowl, a daily towel—then choose one or two shops.

A small pen beside furniture

CIBONE on GYRE B1 places furniture, lighting and vessels beside small stationery. It accommodates both a room-scale visit and a small gift. The ¥1,100 ORIGINAL CLIPEN has a 15 cm plastic body that clips to a notebook, a German 0.7 mm refill and Korean manufacture. Furniture catalogue examples belong to a hundreds-of-thousands-of-yen budget. At 5-10-1 Jingumae, 11:00–20:00, allow an estimated 30–45 minutes. For a room-scale catalogue comparison, CIBONE’s DD sofa option uses Crypton Cresse upholstery; the birch Eclipse Shelf 2 uses circular elements and two tiers to display books and vessels. Contrast a textile mass for sitting with a timber structure that reveals other objects.

Glass for an everyday table

LOST AND FOUND in Tomigaya combines NIKKO tableware with cooking and cleaning tools. La Rochère's 160 ml Périgord bowl is pressed ribbed glass, a useful size for fruit, yoghurt or nuts, at ¥1,650 including tax. A conditional basement showroom offers around 400 NIKKO pieces. Choose it for one addition to an existing table, allowing an estimated 30–45 minutes. Hours are 11:00–19:00, closed Tuesdays, three minutes from Yoyogi-Koen exit 1. Cash, major cards and transport IC are accepted.

Roundabout for textile construction

Roundabout is Kazuto Kobayashi's Uehara basement selection of tools and textiles. LITTLE SUNSHINE's long cotton pile is washed until it twists into cords, then becomes more supple in use. A 23 × 23 cm chief towel is ¥1,320 at the separately identified retailer HOEK; this branch's price is missing. Choose it for materials close to hand, allowing an estimated 30–45 minutes. Open noon–19:00, closed Tuesdays, with basement access to consider. One or two shops during a Tomigaya/Uehara day fit more naturally than a compulsory long walk from CIBONE.

LOST AND FOUND and Roundabout close Tuesdays. Enquire about Roundabout basement access if needed; the three are not a compulsory long walk.
