Walking times are estimates from OpenStreetMap’s surface street network at 80 m/min. They exclude underpasses, decks, station concourses, signal waits, slopes and movement inside buildings. Straight-line links are not walking routes; follow on-site signs even where a time is shown. Shaded quarters show the approximate areas around FOW’s selected places.

Harajuku Chicago Jingumae store
It supplies a broad reference beside BerBerJin’s denim focus and BODE’s new work from textile histories.
Continue with this place ↗Choose Chicago for a broad comparison of garments and surfaces, BerBerJin for denim fastenings, fit and repairs, or BODE for new clothing developed through older textile ideas.
Chicago for breadth
Chicago Jingumae spreads used Japanese, American and European clothing and kimono across two floors. Branch styling examples pair tie-dye and necklaces for a small accent of colour, or denim with a tweed jacket for shape and weave. Decide which change you want before searching across categories. Compare waist, rise and length in trousers, and shoulder line and surface wear in jackets.
Find the shop at 4-26-26 Jingumae, 1F/2F, 11:00–20:00. Allow an estimated 45–60 minutes if trying several garments. Prioritize its breadth when you want to compare materials and shapes before concentrating on the history of one denim piece.
BerBerJin: wearable pieces and collectibles
At BerBerJin, construction and fit make the individual garment the focus. An earlier Lee 205-5508 black-jeans listing combines a W32/L30 tag with separate measurements, a zip and leather patch. Compare waist, rise and inseam with trousers you wear, then inspect crotch and hem wear. A Lee Western shirt’s contrasting yoke and pocket flaps offer another material lesson: the seller described suede-like chamois cloth rather than confirmed leather.
The record of 1930s BLACK BEAR work pants includes suspender buttons and exposed rivets alongside repairs, missing rivets and stitching loss. Looking at collectible hardware and judging a garment for wear go together. The main shop is 3-26-11 Jingumae, 13:00–19:00. Leave an estimated 45–60 minutes to try and examine a piece.
BODE for newly made craft
BODE is not a used-clothing shop. The Looped Chainstitch long-sleeve shirt is a newly made Indian cotton-poplin garment, with loop embroidery across the front, cuffs and hem; its official global price is US$690. A Tokyo yen price remains unverified. The Uehara store's reclaimed-cypress cabin, green glass and black-walnut table extend material history into a new room. Make the separate journey from Jingumae for that craft and space, allowing an estimated 30–45 minutes. Open daily 11:00–19:00.
