A Kabukicho base that can be a bed after a show or a room of cassette tapes and displaced furniture. Choose by the time you will spend inside, the bath arrangement and the cost of breakfast.

Inside Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, a stay connects with a day of performances. GROOVE ROOM collaborations with Tomoyuki Washio, Yoshiaki Kaihatsu and Takuro Tamayama are a specific room choice.
Start with the artwork and layout of the room you will book. GROOVE ROOM is a specific category, separate from standard rooms.

Choose the stay before the floor area
Standard rooms on floors 20–38 range from a place to shower after a show to spaces for spending longer inside. Begin with things you will use: the Superior’s rain shower or the Deluxe’s desk. The 46 m² Executive Twin adds wardrobe and living space. For a group, the 61 m² Japanese Suite uses futons on a raised tatami area for up to six guests. The Garden Suite has a curved corner window more than six metres wide facing Shinjuku Gyoen, while the PARKROYAL Suite’s defining feature is its view bath. These belong to particular categories; a bath or Gyoen view is not standard throughout the hotel.
WHERE · On foot from here
How far to the station you will use every day
North-east of Seibu-Shinjuku Station, about 40 m in a straight line from the station point. It is inside the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower building. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.
Walking bands are computed by FOW on the OpenStreetMap surface street network at 80 m/min and drawn as a smoothed approximate area around the streets reached. They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.

Play a cassette, or question the room’s orientation
A GROOVE ROOM gives the artist more control than a picture hung in an ordinary bedroom. Yoshiaki Kaihatsu’s cassette room has real tapes across the wall and three radio-cassette players for collected city sounds and playlists. Another of his rooms turns actual packing foam into lights and painted wall forms, changing discarded material into an interior surface and a source of light. Takuro Tamayama rotates objects through 90 degrees to unsettle the relationship between floor, wall and ceiling. These are specific 44 m² categories with king or twin beds, a bathtub, rain shower and washing machine. Playing the tapes or spending time with the displaced objects provides a more useful reason to book than the photograph alone.
A neighbourhood story in mosaic
Tomoyuki Washio’s three rooms follow his hand-shaped character Te-kun through mosaic tiles. The neighbourhood story across floors and furniture, and the Three Graces imagery at the bed wall, vary between rooms. These 44 m² rooms also have a bath and washing machine, so the art can be weighed alongside everyday needs on a longer stay. Confirm the artist and exact category when booking an Art Room. These are guest bedrooms rather than a public exhibition.
Compare the room with breakfast and terms
JAM17 breakfast combines a buffet with a choice of main plate, served 06:30–10:00. It costs ¥4,351 per adult and ¥2,175 for children aged 4–12, including 10% tax and 13% service. Adding it for two adults costs ¥8,702, a useful comparison with a breakfast-inclusive room package. Compare room-rate totals for matching dates, occupancy, category and cancellation terms. Standard check-in is 15:00 and checkout 11:00, subject to the package. All rooms are non-smoking; there are no connecting rooms, spa or gym. Same-day bags can be stored before check-in and after checkout, and entry from 01:00 to 07:00 requires a room key. Arrange the appropriate accessible category and assistance before booking.
An overnight budget reference
The official room list gives nightly starting prices of ¥34,000 for Superior,¥39,000 for Deluxe and ¥52,500 for a 44 m² GROOVE ROOM. If the artwork is the reason to stay, compare the named artist room rather than the ordinary-room start. Breakfast added separately for two adults costs ¥8,702; check the actual room rate and inclusions for your dates and guests.
