DMC No.25 embroidery floss, color 3348, is an online product example in 100% long-fibre Egyptian cotton, about 8m and six strands. The listing does not promise Shinjuku shelf stock. Use the name and color number as a comparison reference, then view the actual thread beside ground cloth and decide what line weight your project needs.

Match thread, needle and cloth before buying more

FOW’s reason to choose the store is the chance to leave with a usable combination for work at home. The 6F covers yarn, embroidery and beads; 8F sewing tools, machines and buttons; 9F cotton and clothing fabrics, lining and interfacing. Describe the line and ground you want, then choose a department where you can ask which needle and cloth fit.

Check the color number and the actual color

The online DMC listing warns that displays and dye lots can change perceived color. Check the package color number and real thread rather than relying on a color name. Ask how many strands fit your intended line; for a kit, check whether the needle, cloth, pattern and instructions are included. Ask permission before opening packaging or unravelling thread for a test.

A workshop floor does not promise an available class

The current guide lists a rental workshop and event space on 11F. That does not promise a class on your date or a walk-in making session. Published store hours are 10:30–20:30. The A8/A9 exit route has stairs only; B12a is suggested for an elevator, but a continuous step-free route from the museum into the store has not been verified. Decide whether this is a materials visit or a class requiring its own arrangements.

If the online example’s color is absent, instructions do not suit your language or extra tools do not fit, compare another option or postpone buying. You need not reproduce a museum design or visit every floor. Learning a useful material question is a valid outcome.
