Walking times are estimates from OpenStreetMap’s surface street network at 80 m/min. They exclude underpasses, decks, station concourses, signal waits, slopes and movement inside buildings. Straight-line links are not walking routes; follow on-site signs even where a time is shown. Shaded quarters show the approximate areas around FOW’s selected places.

Paper and small objects for daily use

Ozu Washi

Choose between browsing washi and making a sheet yourself.

Continue with this place ↗

Making paper or writing with it

Ozu offers booked time to make a sheet from kozo fibre. Haibara offers finished paper formats such as accordion letter paper torn where your writing ends. Choose whether the process interests you or you need something to use afterwards. The two shops do not offer the same class.

Picture the table

At Kuroeya, compare the wooden base, lacquer and decoration. A Negoro tray exposes black undercoating through rubbed red lacquer, giving each object a different pattern. Ask about the chosen bowl’s material and cleaning, then decide by size and use. The current 2F shop opens on weekdays, so a weekend gift plan needs another choice.

A small gift and its lead time

At Saruya, distinguish a box you can take today from a custom order. Zodiac designs follow seasonal stock and naming follows a production schedule. Intended use and the date you need the gift matter even for a small object.
