Walking times are estimates from OpenStreetMap’s surface street network at 80 m/min. They exclude underpasses, decks, station concourses, signal waits, slopes and movement inside buildings. Straight-line links are not walking routes; follow on-site signs even where a time is shown. Shaded quarters show the approximate areas around FOW’s selected places.

STAY FOR YOUR KIND OF DAY

Park Hyatt Tokyo

A bamboo atrium, 55 m² rooms and a 20 m pool sit above Tange’s Park Tower; choose between a stay and an afternoon on the 41st floor.

Continue with this place ↗

For a destination stay, compare exact room category and access. For a city base, compare your daily station and arrival with luggage. Choose by preference, rather than ranking or visiting all four hotels.

When the room is part of the day

Park Hyatt’s 55 m² Deluxe has a deep bath and daybed; its 85 m² Park Suite adds living and dining space. Dark furniture, green carpet and Noguchi paper lamps place interior materials beside the city outside. Bellustar’s Studio King is 41–48 m², the two-bed Studio Deluxe 56 m², and the 59 m² Junior Corner Suite brings the bathroom into the view. Bellustar’s Ashizawa–Norm collaboration belongs to five penthouses on floors 45–47. If wood, stone, plaster and low Karimoku furniture drive the choice, confirm that exact category. Compare the bed, bath and living area you will use rather than the shared promise of a city window.

A room after a show, or time with artwork

Groove in the same Kabukicho tower can be a base after a show, or a 44 m² GROOVE ROOM can make the room itself the activity. Kaihatsu’s cassette room uses real tapes and three players for city sounds; Tamayama turns objects through 90 degrees to change spatial orientation. For a group, compare the 61 m² Japanese Suite’s tatami and futons for up to six guests. At Kimpton, distinguish the 28 m² Essential King’s deep bath and rain shower from the tub-free Walk-in Shower category. A 33 m² Premium King and 36 m² Additional Living Area offer more room for bags and time indoors. For a pet stay, ask the hotel to confirm the exact room category and your animal’s weight.

Will you use the breakfast and facilities?

Groove breakfast costs ¥4,351 per adult, or ¥8,702 added for two; it has no spa, gym or connecting rooms. Kimpton offers staying guests Social Hour at 17:00–18:00, morning drinks at 07:00–10:00 and a 24-hour gym, but no pool. A late return and early departure reduce the benefits you will use. Park Hyatt’s pool and club are for guests and members, while Bellustar’s SPA sunya takes non-staying visitors. Its ¥40,480 ninety-minute Japanese aromatherapy is a separate activity, rather than a food or room price. When booking, compare totals for matching dates, guests and breakfast arrangements.

What the overnight figures mean

Read price scale beside the room category. Official starts are ¥34,000 for Groove Superior and ¥52,500 for its 44 m² Art Room; ¥85,000 for Bellustar Studio King and ¥125,000 for Junior Corner King. AFAR’s April 2026 Park Hyatt review gave a start from US$850. These differently scoped budget references do not rank the hotels by cheapest stay. Add any separate breakfast or spa budget.

Confirm pets, bath, connecting rooms and spa for the hotel and category you will book. A Journey base and an actual room reservation are separate.
