Shosen Grande
Choose a floor by your interest in railways, tokusatsu, comics or mathematics; check event dates and stock separately.

Start with your subject
Grande offers a different browse from general literature or antiquarian books. The operator places comics on 2F, light novels, tokusatsu (Japanese special-effects film and TV) and hobbies on 3F, mathematics and science among 4F subjects, and railways and buses on 5F. Start on the floor for your subject, and consider whether browsing mainly Japanese titles suits your purpose; particular titles and foreign-language stock are not guaranteed.
WHERE · On foot from here
Which side of the station, and how far
East of Jimbocho Station, about 140 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.
Walking bands are computed by FOW on the OpenStreetMap surface street network at 80 m/min and drawn as a smoothed approximate area around the streets reached. They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.

Choose the Jimbocho branch
This is Grande at Jimbocho 1-3-2, a separate branch from Akihabara’s Book Tower. The directory lists 11:00–20:00 on weekdays, weekends and public holidays, closed January 1. Recheck notices for changes on your date. An event or floor in another branch does not establish what is available here.
Check the event period and floor
As a dated example, the operator announced Wizardry SHOP×Shigoto Neko goods on Grande 3F for 5–31 October 2026. After that period, check a new notice rather than visiting for this event. The example does not establish permanent stock or an event seat. If a particular item matters, check stock and the floor first, then decide whether browsing books alone would still be worthwhile.
