An outdoor interval between bookshops

Aizen Park is a small district park at Jimbocho 2-20-3. Choose it when you want an outdoor interval among trees between bookshops. Use it as a nearby pause between bookshops, rather than travelling for a long park walk. Look for an actual free seat first when someone in the group needs to sit.

Good to know

Within the 2019 park boundary · check current entrances and paths.

Walking bands are computed by FOW on the OpenStreetMap surface street network at 80 m/min and drawn as a smoothed approximate area around the streets reached. They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.

Separate the older pictures from today

The district records the renovation as completed in March 2025. A park publication’s 2026 introduction describes benches and a space without play equipment. Its separate 2007 pictures do not establish a fountain or play facilities today. Choose elsewhere for a playground, or when rain or heat makes an indoor break necessary.

Check the entrance and facilities you need

On arrival, look for the actual park entrance and on-site signs. Do not rely on the map alone for paths or facilities after the renovation. If you need a toilet or a step-free approach, check the usable route and facilities before deciding to stop. For a night-time visit, follow the posted opening guidance.
