Work with colour instead of only looking
In artist RIO UMEZAWA’s workshop, make a watercolour work in postcard or A4 size. Choose a subject such as flowers, fruit, a night sky or an abstract motif; some have samples and underdrawings to follow. The 90-minute session includes materials and is listed from ¥6,800 per person. Consider whether you want a small work to explore flowing colour or a larger surface, then check the current materials and available themes. This is different from buying a finished work or viewing an exhibition.

How far from the station, and which side
East of Jimbocho Station, about 150 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.

The booking terms specify age 6 and over; under-15s need a guardian, with both participating on paid places. Sessions take 1–10 people and may include other guests. Dogs or cats may also be present. Check suitability before booking if animals are a problem or a private quiet lesson is essential. Spoken-English instruction and step-free access are not established here.
