Choose a time for children’s ball play

The futsal court at Ogawa Hiroba hosts a ball-play programme for young children, elementary pupils and their guardians. Playleaders help with activities and lend equipment, making it a choice for catch or football together. The city says no application is needed: come directly, follow the playleaders’ instructions and share the space and borrowed equipment. Plan to play with your child. This is not a childcare drop-off.

Check the Sunday 14:30–16:30 session

The children’s play session is Sunday 14:30–16:30. It does not run in July–September or December 29–January 3, and rain, heat or community events can cancel it. Check the city’s cancellation notice before setting out and allow an alternative activity. The plaza’s longer opening hours and programme setup time do not extend the children’s session. Ask the operator first if the participation fee or language support determines whether the visit will work for you.

Separate plaza access from paid court use

The address is Kanda Ogawamachi 3-6. The city describes a temporary plaza pending a future development decision, so check its latest use notice. A futsal session for your own group is a separate paid choice. Court applications are first come at the on-site office from 07:00, with no advance or telephone booking and a maximum of 2 hours per group. General court use is unavailable during the children’s programme period. Plaza entry does not grant unrestricted use of an empty court.
