Choose the live stage in the theatre building
Jimbocho Yoshimoto Manzai Theatre is the live venue on 2F at Jimbocho 1-23. It has its own performances and tickets, separate from the cinema in the same building. Choose a dated show from the operator’s manzai, sketches and special programmes. The visit centres on Japanese dialogue and comic timing. If translation or subtitles are essential, check whether they are offered before deciding to attend without them.
WHERE · On foot from here
How far from the station, and which side
East of Jimbocho Station, about 250 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.
Walking bands are computed by FOW on the OpenStreetMap surface street network at 80 m/min and drawn as a smoothed approximate area around the streets reached. They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.

Check the date and physical-entry ticket
Check the date, venue and start time in the official programme, then choose a ticket for physical entry. A paid FANY online-streaming ticket is a different purchase. Confirm performers, prices and remaining seats on the selected show’s sales page. Arrive before the start; late entry may involve waiting for a suitable point in the programme. Permission to buy merchandise without a ticket does not include the performance.
Ask about access before buying
Wheelchair users should contact the operator’s designated FANY ticket desk before purchase, naming the show and required support. The theatre’s layout may mean a viewing position different from the seat number on the ticket. Photography, video and audio recording during performances are prohibited, as is waiting for performers to arrive or leave. Plan around attending the show. If a particular seating arrangement or language support is essential, obtain an answer before buying.
