Depart from Nihonbashi and cruise beyond the district
Choose the operator’s Oedo TOKYO 45-minute course: a roofless-boat trip from Nihonbashi along the Nihonbashi and Sumida rivers, returning to its departure point, with a live guide. Ask about the session’s guide language if it is essential. The map identifies the departure service’s address area. Allow time for an excursion beyond the Nihonbashi–Kanda–Jimbocho area covered here, separately from a walk within the district.
WHERE · On foot from here
How far from the station, and which side
North-east of Nihombashi Station, about 200 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.
Good to know
Address reference for the departure service; no cruise route or boarding entrance is drawn.
Walking bands are computed by FOW on the OpenStreetMap surface street network at 80 m/min and drawn as a smoothed approximate area around the streets reached. They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.

Book against the sailing date and cancellation terms
Check times and fares for the chosen date on the official sales page, then recheck the sailing notice that day: weather or river conditions can cancel a departure at short notice. Changes to a booked date, party or course require cancellation and a new reservation; customer cancellations carry time-dependent charges. On-site applications depend on space and use cash or PayPay. Follow your confirmation’s arrival instructions, as late arrival can mean missing the boat without a refund.
Identify the operator and prepare for boarding
Meet at Taki no Hiroba on the river beside Nihonbashi 1-9. Several operators use the pier, so match the 日本橋クルーズ logo to your booked product. Neither the pier nor the boat offers luggage storage, and large bags have additional restrictions; leave suitcases elsewhere beforehand. The boat has steps and cannot be boarded while remaining in a wheelchair. Arrange with the operator whether a transfer with a companion’s help and the required support are possible. Skip the cruise this time if luggage storage or essential boarding arrangements remain unresolved.
