Choose a game, learn the rules and play

Choose a board game from the cafe and play at a table. Tell staff what you have played and how familiar you are with games so they can suggest one and explain its rules. Solo visitors are guided towards shared tables. Decide whether you would enjoy a game with new people. If you need rule explanations in English, ask what support is available before committing to the visit.

Listed hours are 17:00–23:00 on weekdays and 12:00–22:00 on weekends and holidays. Weekend and holiday visits start with a minimum 3-hour course, so give the games their own time rather than fitting in a quick drink stop. Weekday and weekend plans differ; check the tariff for your day. Payment is entirely cashless, with cards, QR payments and transport IC options. The cafe occupies 1F and 2F of Horii Building.

Check who can join a shared table

Shared tables are for high-school-age visitors and older. For younger companions, confirm arrangements for playing within your own party; elementary-age children and younger need a guardian. Minors also have age-specific time limits, so read those rules before an evening visit. Choose food and drinks from the cafe; outside food and drink are not allowed. Do not book on the assumption that a younger child can join a shared table or that play will be facilitated in English.
