ENGLISH ONLY CAFE welcomes overseas visitors as well as people living in Japan to its language and cultural exchanges. Participants talk at small tables and rotate seats; conversational English is required. English-only tables and tables allowing Japanese practice follow the selected event’s rules. Choose a session that fits your language needs and schedule. This is a conversation event, rather than a taught lesson or a promise of particular partners or outcomes.

How far from the station, and which side
West of Ogawamachi Station, about 350 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.

Prepare the rules and reservation on your phone
Read, understand and agree to the current RuleBook, then reserve the event through Meetup in advance. A member card is issued on your first visit. The operator requires the live Meetup home screen on your phone together with the card; an email or screenshot does not replace that display. Before making this a stop, make sure you can read the rules and prepare the account and live phone screen. Plan a reserved exchange, rather than dropping in to join while passing through the area.
Bring cash and check the session conditions
The cafe occupies 1F and 2F at Kanda Ogawamachi 3-1-14. Payment is cash only. Drinks start at ¥500 and the first member card costs ¥100. Weekend and holiday charges are divided into roughly 2-hour sessions, and some events have extra participation fees; one drink price is not an all-day total. There is a step at the entrance, and staff may be unable to lift a wheelchair. Check the selected event’s current conditions before arranging a visit with a young companion or anyone needing access assistance.
