Asahiya is a neighbourhood soba shop at 3-25-4 Nishihara. Food columnist Macky Makimoto's May 2026 visit, published in June, centred on a ¥1,250 Chinese-noodle and mini-curry set. The homemade noodles came with wakame, bamboo shoots and naruto fish cake; the second dish was Japanese-style curry rice. It is a specific first order for someone who wants more than a single bowl of soba.
