Fuglen Tokyo

A café-bar linking Nordic-roast coffee and evening cocktails among Norwegian vintage furnishings.

The day-and-evening choice distinguishes it from a dedicated coffee visit to Little Nap.

Visit fitFor an interest in Norwegian design alongside drinks. Decide between coffee and cocktails, then check the relevant menu hours.

Norwegian furniture and wallpaper from the 1940s–1970s formed the first overseas branch in 2012.

Daytime coffee in Norwegian furniture

Fuglen Tokyo opened in 2012 with Norwegian furniture and wallpaper from the 1940s–70s. Its two services divide the visit: Nordic-roast coffee by day and cocktails using Norwegian spirits and others at night. For a short first stop, daytime coffee provides the clearest introduction to the furniture and interior.

From daily coffee to hand brew

The official menu image dated 6 April 2026 listed small coffee of the day at ¥480, hand brew at ¥750 and coffee tonic at ¥790. The same menu gave small hot latte at ¥630 and iced latte at ¥770, with ¥100 for oat milk. Choose daily coffee for a quick cup, hand brew for a selected origin or tonic for a sparkling drink. At those listed prices, two daily coffees total ¥960; two lattes total ¥1,260–1,540 depending on the choice.

Two ways to turn coffee into a cocktail

The official night list makes Espresso Martini and Black Rose meaningfully different choices. The ¥1,550 Martini shakes espresso, vodka and cane sugar with Grand Marnier, Nocello and coffee grounds, serving it in a coupe. Orange and nut liqueurs take the coffee in one direction.

Black Rose stirs iced coffee, Demerara rum and vanilla syrup in a tumbler for ¥1,450. One of each gives two people a ¥3,000 drinks subtotal on that posted list. For a hot drink, the ¥1,250 Irish Coffee combines the day’s coffee, Jameson Black Barrel, cane sugar and cream. The Norwegian furnishings stay in place; the choice shifts from origin and brewing to spirit, liqueur and temperature.
