Timber counters and window seats

Paddlers in Nishihara has places to sit as well as a takeaway counter. Its official photographs show a curved timber counter with stools beneath a large abstract painting. Another window has a broad wooden ledge, a low stool, plants and a table lamp. Ordering at the counter and sitting alone by a window become different uses of the room. After its long relationship with Stumptown, the operator announced a move to its own DOUBLE KNEE COFFEE in July 2026.

Chocolate, or fruit and tea

The online catalogue checked on 19 October 2026 introduced Brown Duck roasted by MICHELLE and Worka Sakaro roasted by Sniite as take-home bean examples. Brown Duck Blend was ¥2,300 including tax for 150g: a washed, medium-roast blend of Guatemala, Tanzania and Ethiopia, described by the seller through milk chocolate and fruit sweetness. That catalogue listed Worka Sakaro Ripe Cherry at ¥2,700 for 150g: a fully washed Ethiopian heirloom coffee from Gedeb, Yirgacheffe, roasted light and described through grape, peach and a Darjeeling-like finish. Choose between a medium-roast chocolate direction and lighter fruit-and-tea notes. These online examples and the shop’s current bags may differ.

Coffee and a hot-dog breakfast

The hot dog layers a German sausage over sauerkraut, making a more substantial breakfast than bread alone; HereNow’s firsthand May 2026 report describes that construction. An earlier actual purchase in November 2025 records a ¥1,000 hot dog and ¥650 coffee milk, ¥1,650 together. It is a dated spending example for adding food to a cup. The small garden and outdoor seats beside the entrance cherry tree offer another pause from the indoor window.

An early opening and afternoon close

The address is 2-26-5 Nishihara. Hours are 07:30–16:00, closed Wednesday, making this an earlier start than central Shibuya’s shops. Allow an estimated 20–30 minutes for a cup, or 45–60 with food and a pause.
