KICKS LAB's main Harajuku shop is San Emu Building 1F, 4-32-4 Jingumae. A Japan-exclusive adidas HANDBALL SPEZIAL colourway introduced by the operator provides an example of low-cut shape and material. Burgundy suede, bright blue details and a gum-rubber outsole update the 1979 handball model. The seller identifies adidas direct shops, atmos and KICKS LAB as the Japanese retailers for this colour.

Which side of the station, and how far
North-east of Meiji-jingumae 'Harajuku' Station, about 200 m in a straight line from the station point. The position is the official address point and may differ from the entrance. The shaded areas are about 5 and 10 minutes on foot from here.

A low gum sole or a technical runner
Put the low HANDBALL SPEZIAL and its gum sole beside running-derived shapes such as the Salomon XT-6 or Snow Peak × Merrell AGILITY PEAK 6 BOA SP. These models introduced by the operator offer a comparison of volume and upper construction. Try them to see which shape and fit work with your clothes.
Try both feet and check width and heel hold. See where your trouser hem falls over the shoe to connect its low or more substantial shape with clothes you wear. Allow an estimated 20–40 minutes for fitting. A Japan-limited release and a KICKS LAB-only release mean different things; read the stated retailer scope.
Keep the two Harajuku shops distinct
Hours are daily noon–20:00. PINO HARAJUKU at 4-28-18 is a separate shop. The 2018 ASICS KLSHINOBI collaboration, combining suede, mesh and black, grey and white, explains the retailer's design history rather than today's stock. Check payment and exchange terms before buying.
