Izumi Shiokawa's One has 31 dog images, three paper sizes and flat-opening binding. The publisher's ¥5,500 book differs from the ¥550 postcards in the shop's 2025 post.
Listen to the owner's account of an object's use while browsing stationery and household goods. Wine is sold as a retail product, not an invitation to use the shop as a bar.

Àcôté opened beside Katane Bakery in 2016; its French name means 'next to'. Maki Imamura, whose background includes publishing and fashion, selects its objects. Reports place small stationery such as origami paper and mt tape near the entrance, with kitchen tools, tableware and wine further inside. A 2019 visit found KIKOF Shigaraki pottery developed by KIGI and Shiga craftspeople, Kay Bojesen's wooden monkey, Kamenoko scrubbers and egg slicers.
For a small gift, start with illustrated paper. A July 2025 shop photograph shows Izumi Shiokawa's One and postcards marked ¥550. The publisher PAPIER LABO. lists the book at ¥5,500. Its dog drawings occupy three paper sizes in a binding that opens flat, translating differences in the original works' scale. A card and a book offer different encounters with paper as well as drawing. The card price is from that shop photograph and the book price from the publisher; current àcôté stock and prices need confirmation.

Walking bands are computed by FOW on the OpenStreetMap surface street network at 80 m/min and drawn as a smoothed approximate area around the streets reached. They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.

A bottle to take home
Wine is a retail extension of the household shop. In a 2023 feature with musician Shuta Hasunuma, Imamura connected his enjoyment of Kumpf et Meyer to Jeux de Vins, and described a Clos Fantine red blending grapes and vintages. A liked bottle becomes a route through producer, grape or region to another one. Those bottles are historical examples, and this is not a standing invitation to drink by the glass.
