Three stages to the roof

The 229 m observation visit unfolds in three stages. Enter on 14F, rise through SKY GATE, then reach the indoor SKY GALLERY on 46F and rooftop SKY STAGE. The glass SKY EDGE corner puts the crossing and Center-gai below; farther landmarks include Tokyo Tower, Skytree and, in clear weather to the west, Mount Fuji. The open-air panorama and indoor gallery provide different parts of the visit.

The price changes with the time

Online adult tickets cost ¥2,700 by 14:59 or ¥3,400 from 15:00; the counter adds ¥300. Adult pricing starts at 12, except 12-year-old primary pupils, who qualify for the ¥1,200 child ticket. Buy child tickets at the 14F counter with the child present just before entry; a ticketed guardian must accompany them. Children aged five or younger, and six-year-olds who are still in preschool, enter free. Early slots suit daylight and a lower bill; later ones suit the transition to city lights. Sales open two weeks ahead. Adult online sell-outs also apply at the counter; child tickets remain available there. These are the operator’s prices observed on 19 October 2026.

From the station to 14F

Enter the building from station exit B6 and continue to 14F. Allow 60–90 minutes for the view as well as admission. General hours are 10:00–22:30, last entry 21:20. Leave large luggage outside the facility; put handbags, backpacks and pouches in the 46F lockers before going onto the roof. Hats, earphones, tripods, selfie sticks, food and drinks also stay behind. Phones are allowed; cameras and binoculars must fit a pocket or have a neck strap. Only the facility’s loan strollers may go onto the roof, with limited availability and restricted areas.

If the roof closes

If weather closes the roof, the 46F indoor gallery may still operate. Decide before entering if the roof is essential. Eligible web tickets can be cancelled free through the previous day, or on the day before entry when the roof is closed at the booked time; a late cutoff applies. Counter tickets cannot be cancelled. Once admitted, there is no roof-closure refund or discount. Webket cancellation covers a whole payment, not selected tickets within it. Event terms can differ, and re-entry after leaving is not allowed.

From B6, continue to Scramble Square 14F. Generally 10:00–22:30, last entry 21:20. Even small bags cannot go onto the roof. Read the child-age exceptions and web/counter cancellation terms before entering.

Good to know

Weather can close the roof. After admission there is no roof-closure refund or discount, and no re-entry. Store all bags before the roof.
