Tomigaya Library
A neighbourhood library with a bright reading room and a children’s corner near the entrance, suited to a quiet pause with a book.
Visit fitFor quietly reading library books during a neighbourhood walk. It is not a substitute for a dedicated study room or unrestricted workspace.
The single-floor library has 43 seats, with children's books by the entrance and adult collections farther in.
Plan a visit to read library materials in the reading room or children's area. Using a seat, obtaining a borrowing card and private study are different activities with different conditions.

Tomigaya Library occupies one 510m² floor beneath Tomiya Elementary School's swimming pool. The children's corner comes immediately inside, with general books farther back: roughly 32,000 general and 21,000 children's books, and 43 seats. The official floor guide also identifies large-format picture books, magazine/newspaper areas, catalogue terminals and a universal-access toilet.
Picture books, maps and illustrated material offer a starting point without fluent Japanese. The children’s corner near the entrance and general books farther inside give different interests a place.

Walking bands are computed by FOW on the OpenStreetMap surface street network at 80 m/min and drawn as a smoothed approximate area around the streets reached. They ignore exit positions, station interiors, underground passages, signals, slopes and routes inside buildings — not directions; follow on-site signs.
